Staff Employment Opportunities
Introduction
Tired of looking in the paper's help wanted section? Tired of
paying for listings in the paper week after week? The
purpose of this site is to help dental offices needing help connect
with potential employees. In addition to the usual Help
Wanted section, there is a Help available section where potential
staff members new in the area, new graduates, or people wanting to
make a change can list their availability to work in the dental
field.
Will your office be needing a temporary fill in to help cover an
employee's time off for vacation, maternity leave, etc? As an
employee, will your office be closing down for vacation, etc. leaving
you a desire to fill in elsewhere? If so, please use the Temporary fill in sections to list your availability or find an office needing
help. This site is under development and we are open to any
suggestions!
How to make a listing
To make a listing, email the information to Dr. Epperson with
the subject line as "HDNDS employment". I will post your listing
exactly as it was written into this web page. The listing could
be written with flair and personality similar to what you would send to
the newspaper. Unlike the paper, don't worry about limiting the
number of words. Please email me again to remove your listing as
soon as it is not needed. Here are some guidelines as what to
include:
For help wanted:
- Position wanted
- Full or Part time or Temporary fill in
- Date(s) needed
- Experience/No experience needed
- Job requirements/ description
- Anonymous contact information or office contact information (email &/or phone)
- Office web site (if any)
For help available:

My name is Michele
Johnson and I am a January '06 graduate from the San Joaquin Valley College
dental hygiene program. I recently took my state boards on June 4th, and expect
to have my results back sometime in early to mid July. Upon passing, my goal is
to find full time work in the McKinleyville, Arcata or Eureka area. I am also
open to filling in for vacations/maternity leave. I particularly enjoy SRP and
patient relations with an emphasis on OHI. I can be contacted at home (707-668-5683)
or by cell (707-845-2407) and will be available for immediate employment.
